I've been wanting to start writing in my blog for sometime now and unless we set out the intention to do something it will never happen! I just recently took a trip to Utah to visit my family while the kids were out of school. I wasn't sure if I wanted to fly or travel by car, until I finally came to the decision on which would be friendlier on my pockets! Needless to say- I will not do it again unless I have my husband go with me. Next time I will pay to fly! Grant it, the kids did amazing on our 12 hour drive to and from, it was just exhausting on my end. One thing is you can't beat the beauty of nature while driving, it's a wonderful experience on it's own. Once I arrived I felt relieved from the drive. It's totally a different atmosphere with the beauty of the mountains it's just breath taking. Something I feel I didn't really appreciate as child ua We had fun spending time with family and celebrating my young bucks 12th birthday!!
I give him about 3 more months and he'll be taller than me! He's a great kid we are so blessed to have him in our lives, we couldn't be more proud of the young man he is and all his accomplishments in his young life. Both kids are always do amazing in school with their awards and monthly honor roll stats (btw they have made the honor roll more than I did!!). D.J. got selected to attend Metropolitan Art Institute this fall and will be focusing on sharpening his talent. After a few weeks in Utah it was time to pack up and go come back home it was fun hanging out and being around family it's amazing how much we've grown but for the most part we are all still the same...we just have little people that depend on us and look up to us

This little girl is a trip she hates being covered never using her bedding! She always uses a light throw to cover her self or this case what ever else is around her....

These are some pics before Bernard deployed the one where he is outside was while he was in the field training for a bit over a month. The other three are when we had a two hours with him beofore he left on Dec 15,2009. This deployment has gone pretty quick for me already 2 months down =). A few more months and hopefully he'll make it for the baby's birth!

Well it's been a few matches D.J. hasn't had due to his coaches deploying this month (yay for me, on getting up before 4-5 a.m.). Sad to see the coaches leave praying for their safetly as well as all the other troops. We are in the processes of getting new coaches they just need to get certified, here are some recent pics of the last few matches.

Well it's been a while. I have a lot of pics to put up this is the most recent one I'm a little over 16 weeks pregnant now. Was hoping to find out if we were having a Julia or a Phoenix early last week but the baby had his/her legs crossed. On Saturday was D.J.'s first wrestling meet...boy was it a looong day!! We were up by 4:30 to ride with the team and got home about 10:30 that night. D.J. did great! Didn't win but tied two of the rounds and lost one...he held up pretty good I'm proud of him. I recorded him and got pics I will post up soon. Just been busy with writing school papers and doing work modules. Just thought I'd update for you Maricela =0) before I call it night!
